Fancy A Cuppa?

Kitchen
Unique Space

The kitchen, pantry, and adjoining sitting area of a gracious Saratoga Springs NY Victorian were thoughtfully redesigned with custom-painted cabinetry in a style befitting the home’s historic bones. With minor changes to the existing galley layout, state-of-the-art appliances, and a bright blue-and-white color scheme—inspired by the homeowners’ beloved chinoiserie and stovetop teapot—the entire space was revived and enhanced. Inset ceiling-height white cabinetry is crowned by bespoke oversized moulding, and adorned by antique brass and crystal hardware. Brass accents are repeated in the wire grille upper door inserts, ideal for showcasing that prized porcelain. Beautiful, durable quartz provides copious countertop prep space, and counterpoint to the serene cerulean backsplash. Seating at the eat-at peninsula is supplemented by the built-in banquette, a clever and coordinated carve-out for a snug, color-filled niche. This charming kitchen now welcomes friends and family to gather in comfort, and enjoy that afternoon cuppa!
