About Us

Housewright Cabinetry was created to provide the highest quality of cabinetry for the most prestigious builders, designers, architects and homeowners in the Capital Region.

While working on high-end remodeling and custom design-build projects with Teakwood Builders, owner Jim Sasko realized there was a huge need for custom cabinetry beyond the standard offerings in the Capital Region. As a premier, luxury builder, Teakwood relies on providing its clients with stylish custom cabinetry to create the bespoke kitchen and baths it is best known for.

After an intensive review of cabinetry suppliers, Housewright Cabinetry officially partnered with QCCI, Signature Custom Cabinetry, and DuraSupreme—all providers who demonstrate the mastery of craft and offer varying price-points and levels of customization.

"Innovation is often the ability to reach into the past and bring back what is good, what is beautiful, what is useful, what is lasting."

Jim Sasko

Project Planner / Owner

He may have made his carpentry business official in 1996, but Jim has been working with this hands since he could toddle alongside his father. It is his steadfast commitment to providing clients with not just a phenomenal finished product, but also a seamless and enjoyable process that has established him as an industry leader. When he isn’t dreaming up new ways to better serve clients or networking to create new business partnerships, he can be found zooming down the slopes or mucking a stall on his horse farm.

Amy Paigo

Amy Paigo

Designer

Amy has worked in the residential design industry for more than two decades.  Her passion for design was fueled early on when her dad built and entire wall of 2’x3′ cubbies, which she enthusiastically decorated with samples from big box stores.

She worked for home improvement businesses throughout high school and college.  After earning her degree in Interior Design, she became a lead designer in the kitchen and bath department of a large retail store where she guided and managed design projects from new construction to renovations.  She moved on to a career as a senior designer for an award-winning cabinet design company where she worked with homeowners, as well as architects, designers, remodelers, and builders.  Amy believes home is a reflection of personal style, and works collaboratively with customers to achieve an end result that is beautiful and functional.
