Designed for a passionate home chef, this kitchen balances bold character with serious functionality. Deep Nightfall cabinetry creates a dramatic backdrop, complemented by black hardware and a custom hood with warm copper accents. A white oak island and walnut open shelving introduce warmth, while richly patterned granite extends from the countertops up the backsplash—chosen not only for its striking appearance, but for the durability and easy maintenance a hardworking kitchen demands.

Behind the tailored exterior, nearly every inch has been put to work. A Le Mans corner pullout makes an awkward blind corner easily accessible, while a warming drawer is seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry. The microwave disappears behind pocket doors, and a dedicated coffee and espresso station is concealed behind a custom bifold door designed to stay out of the way when in use. Even the upper cabinets incorporate metal mesh inserts, subtly reinforcing the kitchen’s mix of dark finishes, warm woods, stone and metal.
